Shaye Sofia Díaz
Better known as just 'Shaye' or 'Díaz' as
she introduces herself by her last
name most of the time.

Shaye was born on nineteen juli 1997 in Snowpoint City, Sinnoh. She was was born as a woman and identifies as a woman. Her zodiac sign is Cancer and her Chinese zodiac sign is Ox. She’s an avid believer and follower of horoscopes and thus her zodiac sign is important to her.

Shaye is a bisexual, biromantic woman who leans more towards liking women. She’s had her fair share of partners to notice her preference for women, romantically at least. When it comes to sexual relationships she isn’t really biased towards any gender.

She’s a member of Team Rocket and joined when she was eighteen years old. More about her joining of Team Rocket can be read in the ‘History’ section.

Her favorite type of pokémon is Ice, followed by Dark. Her least  favorite types are Fairy and Bug. She has a preference for Ice due to her positive experiences with Ice pokémon and the surroundings she grew up in. It’s odd to see that even though Ice is her favorite type of pokémon she doesn’t have a single Ice pokémon herself.

Shaye has shoulder length auburn colored hair, usually worn in a ponytail or a  bun. She’s rarely seen with loose hair, as it annoys her when the wind messes up her hair.
She has big, brown colored eyes, usually decorated with a bit of makeup, though it depends on the day and the hour she woke up at how much she wears. Some days it looks like she wears a whole Sephora on her face, others she doesn’t even wear mascara.
Shaye’s face is usually decorated with a sweet and friendly smile when you see her, making her quite easy to approach as she has a friendly vibe around her. She’s had many people approach her only because of her smile in the past, all of them stating she’d seemed sweet. Shaye usually doesn’t really stand out, though. If you were to put her in a large group of people she wouldn’t be the one to catch your eye.

Shaye is quite short with her 158 centimeters in length and she’s actually quite bothered with her length. “I’m cursed with the length of a child,” she’d always sigh whenever her length is brought up, only to be followed by a “Mention my length one more time and I’ll show you even people with the size of a child can be terrifying,” though her threats aren’t taken seriously most of the time.

When you first meet Shaye you could say one thing about her at the end of the day. She’s the most unserious person to exist. Not in a childish way, but more in a ‘Haha what happens when I do that instead of my work’ kinda way. There’s not a lot she takes serious. She never took school serious - she’s a dropout for a reason. She never took her jobs serious and she’s not one to take warnings or threats serious either. You could threaten to kill her and she’d tell you “Challenge accepted.”

Shaye is also annoyingly petty and able to hold grudges for the longest. If you piss her off she’d do anything to get back at you and there’s almost nothing she wouldn’t do to get back at you. One time when she was only fifteen she even slipped drugs in the bag of one of her classmates and got a teacher to catch them. Reason? They made a small comment about her old shoes that caused the whole class to laugh. Shaye really is that petty.
She’s also capable of holding grudges for years for the pettiest reasons. One time, for example, a Staravia she tried to catch escaped the pokéball and flew away and ever since that Staravia she’s been refusing to catch another one. She even turns away when she see one. Another time someone accidentally ignored her text for four days and she’s been ignoring that person for five and a half years now.

The woman isn’t exactly one to be very strict when it comes to rules either. Like said before, she doesn’t take much serious and that includes the police and the law as well. To quote her, “What’s a mugging or some innocent pickpocketing when there are actual serial killers in this world.” Oddly enough, she doesn’t have a past with law enforcement, even with the few criminal things she’d found herself getting into in the past. That being said, she wouldn’t care either way.

At the end of the day Shaye isn't a bad person, though. She might not care all that much about a lot and she did a few questionable things in the past that got some people in serious problems, but she would never do anything bad without a reason. Even when her reasons might be a bit petty sometimes.

Mistle is Shaye's first pokémon and also her strongest. She bought an exotic egg on a pokémon market - maybe it wasn't all that legal, but that's irrelevant now - and when the egg hatched it ended up being a Noibat. Shaye named her after her mom's favorite plant, the mistletoe.

Shaye had stolen the Trapinch from one of the kids at her school in order to join Team Rocket. The Trapinch still doesn't listen to her and bites her all the time, causing her to not really pay much attention to him anymore. Only when she's in a really good and positive mood she tries to get him to listen again. She's actually so pissed he doesn't listen that she still hasn't given him a name and it's been at least one year since she stole the pokémon.

Gwyn was given to Shaye by a good friend of her one year ago. He had given her the pokémon after she helped him to level up and evolve his own Eevee into an Espeon. Shaye hasn't been all that busy training the pokémon, seeing how shy and scared Gwyn is of everything.

- Stole food, money, cars. Stole everything possible stealing. Sold everything.
- Her friends said she'd earn a lot of money in Team Rocket if she did her job well.
- Joined Team Rocket when she was eighteen years old.
- Had to steal a pokémon to show her worth, stole a Trapinch from her classmate.
- Trapinch was a bitch so Shaye never named him.
- Helped her friend evolve his Eevee into an Espeon.
- Got an Eevee from the same friend as a thank you. Named Eevee Gwyn.
- Dropped out of school because of her behavior and because she never attended any classes.
- Was told she'd be able to earn more in Hoenn, so she left Sinnoh for Hoenn to earn more money for her and her mom.

- Shaye is allergic to anything with shellfish in it.
- It might be odd, but Shaye really enjoys watching cop movies and tv shows.
- Shaye doesn't like bird pokémon (since the Staravia-incident).
- Her favorite pokémon is Luxray.
- Whenever she needs something done she usually tries to convince others to do it for her first.
- Shaye is very moody in the morning and isn't approachable until eleven am.
- She's scared of poison-type pokémon.
- Shaye loves to swim, as long as it's in a swimming pool.
- Her favorite alcoholic drink is Tequila Sunrise and if it were up to her she'd drink it all day every day.
- Shaye loves doing shots even though she thinks most shots are disgusting.
- She's actually more of a cocktail person, though. They're only too expensive for her taste.
- She's never done any hard drugs before, though has sold it and has been in possession of it.
- Shaye is very materialistic.
- She never upgraded from the rank as a grunt, as she never put any effort into her job. She does what's necessary to stay in Team Rocket and to earn money, but nothing more.
- She has a habit of calling people by their surname. She usually doesn't use first names when she's addressing people.
